It continues to use the 18 MP CMOS sensor seen in T2i Rebel (550D), but earns a tilt and swivel LCD monitor about 1,040 k as offered in the more expensive 60D. Also acquired the ability to control remotely using flashes of internal flash, a feature until now only appears in high-end models.

Canon EOS 600D has ISO 100-6400 range that can be expanded to ISO 12 800. EOS 600D enables high-speed shooting at 3.7 frames per second (fps).

EOS 600D can record full HD 1920x1080p videos that offers manual control where exposure and frame rate of 30.25 and 24 fps at full resolution, and 60 and 50 fps at a resolution of 720p. Even when recording, users can use the 3-10x digital zoom while maintaining the quality of Full HD.

EOS 600D provides several filter effects to make the pictures become more interesting to all the RAW image and JPEG images. Features filter can be applied after the user performs image capture and apply different filters to the same picture with some selection effects.
